I was always ashamed of my nails. Long, moist cuticles growing in any direction it could possibly grows and an ugly shape of my nail bad. Any time I went to the salon they were not happy to have me. They couldn’t even push my cuticles back as it was so sensitive and growing on the half of my nails. I ended up with a nail polish applied only to the part that had a nail bad. It looked ugly.  I thought it was the “end of the world” for me.

But don’t be disappointed, there are so many ways to fix this. With all new technologies and high-end products nail technicians can easily performed an outstanding job for you. They also will explain how take care of your nails between the appointments, or you can simply help yourself doing it at home.

Tips from Personal Experience to Keep Your Nails Healthy

My biggest piece of advice is to try and push your cuticles back very gently, with no pressure at all. If you apply pressure, you could make things worse by causing damage to your matrix.

Try doing this almost every day, after you wash the dishes, take a shower or it you have spare time on your hands, soak them in warm water for a few minutes.

When pushing back your cuticles, please use an orange wooden stick. Remove the dry cuticle with a small manicure brush or a new dental brush. If you need to cut it, just cut the dry, dead tissue.

Don’t try to remove your cuticles all at once, remember you are only trying to help them reach a desirable shape and not over do it.

And again, it is from my personal experience. Even if you do it few times a week it will help your cuticles look neat and clean.
